Bourges, the regional capital is about a 35min drive and here you'll find a fabulous produce market at the Halle au Ble.There are lots of good restaurants locally, the pick being La Tour, Pomme d'Or and Clos M.The famous River Loire offers plenty of opportunities for canoe trips and picnics and is a great way to experience the stunning scenery of the Loire Valley.
