Paphos is a city on the southwestern coast of Cyprus. It is a two-hour drive away from Nicosia and an hour’s drive from Limassol. Paphos International Airport is just a fifteen-minute drive (or shuttle) from the city centre. It is the second largest airport in Cyprus with regular budget-friendly flights to the rest of Europe.
Paphos is home to beautiful beaches. Coral Bay, with its shallow waters and sports facilities, just six kilometres north of the town, is ideal for families. While Lara Bay, known for its turtle conservation, has a tranquil atmosphere. On the coastal road between Paphos and Limassol, you’ll find the rock formation Petra Tou Romiou, the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite. Paphos has honoured Aphrodite with her very own waterpark.
