Paralimni is a town in the district of Famagusta, on the southeast coast of Cyprus. It is located slightly inland, just a 10-minute drive from the vibrant resort town of Ayia Napa. Plus, Larnaca International Airport is just a 45-minutes away. While the capital, Nicosia, is an hour in the car; alternatively, you could get a cheap bus ride there.
The beautiful beaches of Nissi and Fig Tree Bay with their crystal-clear waters are just a quarter of an hour away. These beaches aren’t just excellent for sunbathing and swimming, they also boast of fantastic nightlife. However, as a hit tourist destination, Ayia Napa can be very busy during the peak season – which is why some might prefer for their home to be a little distance away in Paralimni. Additionally, Paralimni is home to beautiful old buildings, such as the Agios Georgios Church. Plus, you can enjoy daytrips to villages such as Derynia and Sotira.
